Yanirda is a licensed Physical Therapist with over ten years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting. She earned her Doctorate in Physical therapy from Rutgers University after majoring in Exercise Science & Sports Studies in undergraduate school. In 2014, Yanirda obtained her Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) certification followed by the completion of advanced continuing education courses to earn her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification. Yanirda takes pride in continuously advancing her clinical skills.
Yanirda is a former division I track and field athlete who also played basketball and softball in high school. In her free time, Yanirda enjoys snowboarding, running, working out and travelling all over the world. She has several years of experience treating sports related injuries and loves to work with athletes.
Yanirda is fluent in Spanish and treats patients of all backgrounds and ages. She is dedicated and committed to helping her patients get better every single day. Her treatment technique consists of an evidence-based approach with focus on therapeutic exercise, manual treatment, postural/core stability, joint mobilization, strengthening, functional training, and various modalities to decrease pain. Her patients love the she is thorough and develops a comprehensive treatment plan.
